She is the first Pakistani woman to climb the second highest mountain in the world, K2. It is the world’s most dangerous and difficult summit. K2 is the world’s second highest peak, with a height of 8,611 metres above sea level.
In 2013 she had scaled mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world.
A 22-year-old Pakistan woman has made history by becoming the first woman from her country to scale Mount Everest.
“Don’t be afraid of failures as you learn from them. Set your goals and keep going to achieve them,” said mountaineer Samina Baig in one of her interview.
