Yusuf Polat, head of the “Bilim Baku” center, held an info session about the “TEKNOFEST 2023” festival at Mingachevir State University (MSU). Academic and administrative staff members, students and graduate students of MSU participated in the information session. MSU deputy vice-rector for scientific affairs, professor Veysal Ayyubov made an introductory speech and said that the attention and interest in “TEKNOFEST” at the university is high. It was noted that 3 teams from MSU participated in the final stage of the “TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan” festival held in Baku this year. Speaking about the importance of technology competitions in the development of innovative skills, V. Ayyubov urged students to actively participate in “TEKNOFEST 2023” and make the most of the opportunities created. Then Yusuf Polat gave detailed information about “TEKNOFEST”. It was pointed out that the next festival will be held in Istanbul between April 30 and May 6, 2023. It was reported that applications for the festival have already started and registration will end on November 20. At TEKNOFEST 2023, competitors will compete in 41 different categories, such as rocket, model satellite, artificial intelligence in transportation, biotechnology innovation, digital technologies in industry, flying car design, educational technology, autonomous passenger robot, agricultural technology and robotics. At the festival, which was met with interest, the questions of the participants were answered and opinions were exchanged. After the information session, MSU rector Shahin Bayramov met with Yusuf Polat, the head of the “Bilim Baku” center, and Hasil Abbasov, the head of the ASAN Innovative Development Center. At the meeting, discussions were held about the possibilities of representing MSU in the “TEKNOFEST 2023” competition. Expressing their satisfaction with the meeting with the students, the guests pointed out that appropriate support will be provided for the development of potential cooperation with MSU.
