It also has its distinct natural resources like minerals and precious stones. Baloch culture has bestowed us with folklores as a practice of transferring knowledge to the next generation. Not just this but the mountainous region also boasts a rich custom of hospitality highlighted by their customary culinary masterpieces such as Sajji.

TASTES OF BALOCHISTAN

BALOCHI SAJJI:

Sajji is the Balochi origin dish which is a typical desi Pakistani food. It is actually roasted meat of lamb or chicken marinated in vinegar, salt and spices and skewered and then roasted the whole chicken or lamb on coal that provides a smoky flavor to the meat.

KHADDI KABAB:

It is an interesting item of Balochi cuisine. Khaddi kabab is whole lamb or goat cooked underground by placing the fire. The stomach of lamb is filled with rice which is cooked by the fats of the lamb or goat. The whole khadi kabab weighs almost 10 to 12 kgs.
