Naran & Kaghan are two beautiful towns located in Mansehra District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. The valley is nestled in the majestic green Himalayas surrounded by dark and dense alpine forests, which adds to the appeal of visiting such destinations for tourists. No doubt, Naran Khagan Valley has many beautiful places for its visitors. Naran is one of the most famous cities in the country due to its beautiful scenery. Thousands of people visit this part of Pakistan every year, including photographers, tourists, hikers, and nature lovers. Whether you’re planning to visit this iconic place with friends, family, or someone special, you’ll be sure to make plenty of unforgettable memories here. Lake Saif Al Malook is considered the fifth most popular tourist attraction in the country. The lake has mesmerizing beauty, a pleasant atmosphere, and stunning views. Many tourists from all over the world visit this place every year. The best time to visit this place is from May to September. In winter, the lake is covered with snow and the roads are closed due to heavy snowfall. The lake is also home to brown trout and offers iconic views of Malika Parbat, the highest peak in the Kaghan Valley.
You can also enjoy boating during the day and camping at night under a beautiful blue sky with millions of stars and a bright moon representing the sparkling Milky Way. However, this lake is hidden among the majestic Himalayan mountains at an extremely high altitude of 10,499 feet (3,224 m) above sea level. A 30-minute jeep ride from Naran Valley to Saif-ul-Maluk Lake offers beautiful views of the valley and avalanches. You can also hike to the lake for about 3 hours. Once you arrive and explore the lake, the beauty and scenery of the lake will transport your mind to another world, making it one of the most famous tourist destinations in the country.

Another beautiful destination in Pakistan is Lulusar Lake in the Kaghan Valley. This place is a popular tourist spot because of the mountain peak. The high mountains are covered with snow and offer breathtaking views to visitors. Midsummer is the best time to visit this place when there is less snow and more greenery. Since this lake is located within the Lulusar-Dudipatsar National Park, you can spot animals such as foxes, black bears, peregrine falcons, Himalayan grouse, lynx, and marmots.
Additionally, you and your partner can go hiking or spend the night there. If you’ve ever visited Woburn’s parks, walking through these squares will remind you of Woburn’s parks. You can hire people to set up a camp for you and your friends.
The roads to this wonderful destination are paved and in fairly good condition. Additionally, the route to this giant lake takes you past beautiful waterfalls and glacial streams, offering breathtaking views of the destination. Located 50 km from Naran Valley and 3,410 m (11,190 ft) above sea level, this lake can be explored in about 30 minutes by car. Moreover, this dynamic Lulusar Lake is also the main source of the Kunhar River in the Naran Valley.

The Babusar top is known as Babusar Pass, north of Kaghan Valley. The Pass connects the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan with the Gilgit Baltistan region in Northern Pakistan. This is the highest place in the area, which can be easily visited by cars and jeeps. You can visit this place during the summer. The site offers mesmerizing and beautiful views during the summer season. But stay safe as the area is at a high altitude, and it gets colder above. The Babusar Pass is 4,173 m (13,700 ft) high above sea level. Moreover, this is the last point of Naran Kaghan Valley.

Lalazar Meadow and its Unspoiled Beauty This beautiful tourist destination islocated near Naran in the village of Batakundi in the Kaghan Valley. The place is filled with wild flowers, firforests, and pine trees, making it a lush meadow. On one side of the area there is a deep valley near the Kunhar river. On the other side, you can enjoy beautiful views of the hills with dark alpine forests. People come from all over the world to admire its beauty. You can also see “FalakSar” (snow-capped mountain) from here. Explore this amazing destination on a thrilling muddy jeep ride through small sections. This road becomes muddy and slippery during the rainy season, making it dangerous.

Lake Ansoo – Hidden Paradise of Naran. This natural part, Ansu Lake, is located at an altitude of 4,250 meters in the Himalayas and you can reach this hidden gem of nature through a trekking adventure. First travelers have to take a bumpy jeep ride to reach Lake Saif-ul-Malk, then ride horses for two hours in the upper Himalayas, then trek for an hour to Lake Ansoo.
It also got its name from the shape of the lake. Ansoo means “tears” because the lake is shaped like a teardrop. Enjoy breathtaking views from the lake that you will remember for a lifetime. Moreover, the best time to visit this lake is from June to August, as other months can bring heavy snowfall at the destination, which can be dangerous for trekkers.

Next beautiful lake in Pakistan is a Dudipatsar Lake. Dudipasar means “white mountain lake” and the mountains surrounding the lake are covered with white snow every year. Moreover, this lake is known as the Queen of Lakes of Pakistan due to its majestic beauty. You can reach this destination by going to Jharhad in Naran Valley. After the campaign ends, the traveler has to enjoy a 4-5 hour trek while admiring breathtaking views. The best season to visit this nature is from June to August.
Then, heavy snow falls at the destination, which may cause problems for the visitors and cause them to get stranded there.
Located at an altitude of 3800m, this lake is surrounded by lush green meadows.

Siri Paye Meadows in the Shogran valley of the Naran Kaghan region. Travelers can reach this beautiful destination by having a jeep ride for 1 hour from the famous Kewai waterfalls. The thrilling jeep passes through the dense alpine woods with breathtaking, marvelous views that can substantially impact nature. After this adventurous jeep ride, one has to walk for around 15 minutes to reach the plains with the lush green pasture at the feet of Makra Peak. The lush green plateau has a height of 3,060 m from sea level. Nature lovers can have a camping night at the top to capture the shiny Milky Way with some of the best camping views. Except for the meadows, one can also enjoy the beauty of Shogran Valley. Explore the village with beautiful views; it gets so foggy at night that one cannot see anything.
