Lahore during the 11th-19th centuries alternately passed under the rule of all these empires. Now Lahore is the cultural capital and the second largest city of Pakistan. Lahore Fort
One of the main points of attraction for tourists is the Lahore Fort, a fortress built by the Mughals at the crossroads of routes to Persia, India and Tibet. The Fort was built during the heyday of the Mughal Empire, and no expense was spared for it. The main gate is designed for the free passage of an elephant with a mahout. Their size and finesse of carving are grandiose.

Azadi Chowk ( Urdu: آزادی چوک, “Liberty Interchange”), is a large elevated roundabout in Lahore, capital of Punjab, Pakistan. As one of the Lahore’s major entry points, the interchange is usually busy.
Badshahi Mosque
The Badshahi Mosque (بادشاہیمسجد) the “imperial mosque”, in Lahore was built by the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in 1671 and completed in 1673. It is the second largest mosque in Pakistan and South Asia and the fifth largest mosque in the world.
Minar-e-Pakistan
The foundation of Minar-e-Pakistan lies in Greater Iqbal Park. It is 24 km away from Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore via Lahore Ring Road and GT Road. Two of the famous spots of Lahore, namely, Lahore Fort and Badshahi Masjid are just a drive of 10-15 minutes away. If you reach the top of the minaret, you can have a broad view of Badshahi Masjid.
In addition, “Minar-e-Pakistan”, the national monument of Pakistan also was illuminated with the colors of Azerbaijani flag to celebrate Victory Day of Azerbaijan. This is first time in Pakistan history, before any foreign country’s flag colour was illuminated on above-mentioned national monuments.

Gaddafi Stadium – previously known as Lahore Stadium is a cricket stadium in Lahore, Pakistan and the home ground of Lahore Qalandars. It is owned by the Pakistan Cricket Board. With a capacity of 27.000, it is the fourth largest cricket stadium of Pakistan. It was designed by Nasreddin Murat-Khan, a Pakistani architect and civil engineer of Russian origin, and built by Mian Abdul Khaliq and Company in 1959.
