Lahore city is an oriental fairy tale

by farhadova

Lahore is wonderful. No wonder some of its attractions are included in UNESCO. Lahore is one of the oldest cities in the world. The origin of Lahore is attributed to the II century. In the historical appearance of the city, a harmonious mixture of incompatible cultures is striking: the architecture of the Muslim branch of the Mughal dynasty, Sikh city planners and British architects of the Victorian era. Lahore during the 11th-19th centuries alternately passed under the rule of all these empires. Now Lahore is the cultural capital and the second largest city of Pakistan. It is located near the border with India.
